Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board to host Going Pro Talent Fund information session
Because of the high demand for information on the 2020 Going Pro Talent Fund, the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board has added a third informational session for Macomb County employers interested in applying for a grant. The session will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 9 a.m. and will take place in the Assembly Room of the Robert A. Verkuilen Building located at 21885 Dunham Road, Clinton Township 48036. Local employers can register to attend the session at www.macomb-stclairworks.org/gpreg.
The Going Pro Talent Fund is a competitive grant funded by the State of Michigan that gives employers the opportunity to apply for up to $1,500 per individual to provide training for both newly hired and existing workers in the skills needed to keep their companies competitive. Employers can also apply for up to $3,000 per trainee to support first year USDOL registered apprenticeships.
